Cut and Paste - hot water
March 6, 2007It happened again.
Someone cut and paste from my website and didn’t get rid of all the evidence. This time, someone copied my Shoebox Memories site almost word-for-word and forgot to change the links to PayPal. More specifically, they copied my order form and my website about slide shows… then called my number (because they forgot to remove it from the HTML code) and expected me to help. It’s crazy! It’s a definite violation of my copyrights!!!
I would love to get some kind of retribution on people like this… It’s happened at least 4 or 5 times since I started Shoebox Memories in 2003. I don’t know what I can really do however. Any suggestions??
For starters, here’s the proof…
My order forms (see page 2) and website…
Screenshot of their website: (this is my proof/evidence)
It gets worse… their actual order form (an alternate link) is REMARKABLY similar to my order form!!!
Who are these violators of my copyrights??? Treasured Moments, based in South Dakota… http://www.treasuredmomentsslideshows.com/

Please don’t do business with them, at least until they get some original content on their own website…
