I like the cartoon… I make a conscious effort to try and have my kids do more non-technology related things, but in this day and age it’s HARD! Every toy is electronic in some way shape or form.
I was the first in my family to have a smartphone… a Treo. It was nice to have email on the go. I am not a fan of BlackBerries, so I’ve never had one. I find myself checking frequently, but never to the point of excess… at least in my eyes. My wife used to complain that I was always on it (which was a bit of an exaggeration).
Since then, my wife has gotten a BlackBerry for work, and she REALLY is on it all the time… WAY more than I am.
Technology is great… it just needs to be applied well. I don’t think it’d be fair to like some technologies and not others.
Well said. I think we each like the technologies that work for us and ignore the ones that don’t. I don’t think its possible to live in this day and age and not use it. My family, me included, is inside and electronically engaged way too much.
I admit it’s sleek, but here’s my take on technology

Have a great day!
